Practicing gratitude for all those who've had a hand in your meal is a big part of Mindful Eating practice. I learned this chant at a mindful eating retreat in Oregon a few years back. If with your family while eating, do this aloud, reflecting on the farmers, truck drivers, market vendors and all others between farm and table who’ve made your meal possible.

TIP!!! You (&/or your kids) can colour this, frame it, & put it up where you eat as a reminder of your mindful eating practice! Research & my experience in practice has shown that mindful eating practice supports both adults in enjoying meals & maintaining healthy weight, while also supporting children who may present as picky eaters!
